BLACK BISON Staining Wax (Paste)


A superb balanced blend of waxes, designed to provide a fine finish on all woods.
Particularly resistant to finger and watermarks.
Clear and Neutral waxes give a soft sheen to antiques and sealed modem furniture.
The staining waxes are excellent for darkening faded wood and covering water marks, blemishes and scratches while enriching wood colour to create a beautiful sheen.
Before applying Black Bison Wax, remove old waxes and dirt with LIB NET Cleaner.
Apply wax with a pad of our extra fine steel wool 0000.
When worked with the grain, this helps the wax and the colour to penetrate deeper.

Woodturning Stick

With Carnauba Wax, as the main ingredient, the stick has the qualities of pure carnauba. Being slightly softer it ensures an even distribution, even on awkward shapes, avoiding scratching even the softest of woods. Apply to either bare wood or on top of a sealer. 		£3.70

Friction Polish

Can be used by the wood turner or cabinet maker.
This excellent polish offers a simple way to obtain a first class finish, in most cases with only one coat.
It should be applied by pad and the polish worked on the surface until dry, the pressure on the pad should be increased as the polish dries and burnished until the final finish is obtained. 		500ml £11.50

Carnauba Wax

This is very hard vegetable wax obtained from the leaves of Brazilian Palm Trees, supplied in small blocks mainly for the woodturner, giving a high gloss finish. 		100g £2.50

Wax Filler Stick

As this stick of beaumontage wax does not have to be melted, it is very easy to use.
Shave off a small piece and soften by working it in the fingers, then press into hole or crack. Remove the excess with a knife and when hard just buff like a normal wax polish. (In cold weather it may be necessary to place the stick by a source of heat). The stick can also be used as a grain filler, together with Black Bison Wax.
Apply Black Bison Wax then rub the stick evenly over the surface, filling all small holes and grain. Allow to dry and buff.

Shellac Filler Sticks
